Basalt Middle School is hiring a full-time 6th Grade Social Studies and Science teacher for the 2017-18 school year.  Basalt Middle School has been repeatedly recognized with the Colorado Governor's Distinguished Improvement Award for outstanding student growth.  We have also been recognized nationally as a School to Watch for our Growth Mindset school culture.  We are seeking candidates who hold students to high academic standards and understand the importance of character education in middle schools.
