Bridges High School is currently seeking a full-time English Language Arts and English Language Development teacher for the 2017-18 school year. This is full-time benefited position located in beautiful Carbondale, CO. State licensure in Secondary ELA is required, and an ELD/CLD endorsement is strongly desired.

Bridges High School is an innovative and student-driven Alternative high school learning environment, built upon the expectation of full and genuine engagement from students and staff. Being a teacher at Bridges involves more than delivering content knowledge or applying pedagogical expertise. With this in mind, our new ELA/ELD teacher will be expected to instruct and guide (advise) students holistically, as "human beings in progress," and must demonstrate the ability to address adolescent motivational and self-efficacy issues, as well as experience in guiding a diverse array of young minds in the discovery of pathways to college/career attainment and a fulfilling adult life. Bilingual ability strongly desired.
