Basalt Middle School is hiring a full-time ELD Teacher for the 2018-19 school year.  This position will also teach one section of Spanish. CDE licensure in ELD/CLD and/or Spainish (or the ability to obtain) is strongly desired for this position, but most other endorsements are eligible for this assignment! 

Basalt Middle School has been repeatedly recognized with the Colorado Governor's Distinguished Improvement Award for outstanding student growth.  We have also been recognized nationally as a School to Watch for our Growth Mindset school culture.  We are seeking candidates who hold students to high academic standards and understand the importance of character education in middle schools.
