FT Bus Fleet Technician (Mechanic) (compensation depends on experience)

This position starts at $21.14 but will be higher for experienced candidates. 

RFSD is seeking a Full-Time Bus Fleet Technician (Mechanic). This key member of our Transportation team performs fleet service operations and the maintenance of District vehicles, including CDE-mandated inspections. This position includes the opportunity to independently manage a maintenance shop. This position may also be engaged in occasional route coverage as a Substitute Driver.

Eligible applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and ideal applicants will have at least two years’ experience with school district vehicle maintenance operations or equivalent fleet. Must hold a Colorado BP2-S-endorsed commercial license or be eligible to obtain. Previous fleet and/or personnel management experience a huge plus.
